At HEROCAR, we believe there’s no such thing as a small donation

Vehicles on the battlefield primarily save lives — they help evacuate the wounded, transport civilians, and ensure troop rotation. That’s why the HeroCar project, run by the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation, is focused on providing transportation for Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

To date, the project has delivered over 570 vehicles to the army and recently completed its largest single handover yet: 35 vehicles were sent to the front lines. These vehicles are now serving troops in the Kursk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Donetsk directions.

The handover took place in the heart of Lviv, at Rynok Square. Funds for these vehicles were raised by HeroCar in collaboration with the “Lachen Pyshe” project. Over 49,000 people contributed, helping raise more than 10 million UAH in just one week. We are deeply grateful for such engagement and support!

Vehicles at the front don’t last long — from about a week to a few months, according to the military. There is a constant need for reliable, all-wheel-drive transport across all units. HeroCar actively searches for suitable vehicles abroad — we bring them in from South Korea, the UK, and across Europe. Every vehicle undergoes technical inspection and repairs before deployment. We deliver almost daily, and fundraising for new vehicles is ongoing.

Ukrainian citizens, responsible businesses (over 90 partners already), and Ukrainian communities abroad — including friends from Canada, the UK, and Turkey — all contribute to our efforts. We are also expanding our international fundraising operations.

At HeroCar, we believe there’s no such thing as a small donation. Every contribution becomes a real vehicle for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in just a few weeks — strengthening our national defense.
