TERWIN’s WINHUB project showcased at inaugural Ukraine–EU business summit in Brussels
TERWIN Corporation’s flagship logistics initiative, WINHUB, was presented at the first-ever Ukraine–EU Business Summit held in Brussels. Highlighted among eight key investment projects selected by the Kyiv School of Economics, WINHUB was featured during a panel dedicated to exploring investment opportunities in Ukraine.
Organized at the initiative of the European Commission, the summit brought together business leaders, government officials, policymakers, and analysts from both Ukraine and the EU. The event, opened by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and European Commissioner Marta Kos, marked a pivotal step toward deepening Ukraine’s economic integration with the European Union. It also served as a platform for presenting updated EU financial tools and new cooperation mechanisms to support investment in Ukraine.
WINHUB is a next-generation network of logistics parks designed to accelerate business growth and strengthen Ukraine’s economic infrastructure. With plans to develop more than 1,000,000 m² of Class A logistics space in four strategic metropolitan regions — Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, and Odesa — the project targets major transport corridors connecting Ukraine with the EU. The total investment is projected at $700 million.
“Ukraine needs ambitious infrastructure projects that attract capital and drive economic expansion. Every billion dollars invested can raise the country’s GDP by 0.5% to 1%, depending on the multiplier. In logistics, the impact is particularly strong: each hryvnia invested can generate up to seven hryvnias of broader economic value. WINHUB can become a catalyst for transformative growth, potentially creating up to 20,000 new jobs — both temporary roles in construction and long-term positions in logistics, maintenance, and related sectors. These kinds of large-scale investments don’t just boost the economy — they set the stage for systemic change. As the company behind one of the country’s largest investment initiatives, we’re committed to delivering that kind of multiplier effect,” said Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN Corporation.
To help realize this impact, TERWIN has launched the “Building Ukrainian” platform — an initiative aimed at involving domestic manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors in the WINHUB project. By prioritizing local participation, the platform not only supports Ukrainian industry but also creates new opportunities for sustainable business growth nationwide.
