The award ceremony took place at the Business Wisdom Summit, gathering over 700 executives, entrepreneurs, top managers, investors, and business leaders.
Ruslan Shostak diligently prepared his companies for the war. Protecting people and preserving business were top priorities. All possible risks were calculated, considering the safety of 30,000 employees and thousands of facilities across Ukraine. EVA and VARUS warehouses were full at the beginning of the war, and people were mentally prepared for the events of February 24, 2022.
«The first weeks of the war were challenging as the enemy attempted to create a food crisis and bombed approximately 20,000 square meters of warehouses along with the goods. Material losses amounted to tens of millions of hryvnias. However, through planning and crisis management, we managed to restore logistical chains and resume operations with suppliers. There was no time for hesitation; we had to make quick decisions. Thus, transitioning from adaptation to effective strategic leadership in crisis conditions allowed us to preserve both the business and the people», shared Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN.
Additionally, the Business Wisdom Summit featured the recognition of industry leaders — companies acknowledged as the best and most successful in their niches by "TOP-100. Ratings of the Largest" and the business portal delo.ua. Taking into account business metrics and a socially active position, the jury awarded the title of leader in the drogerie store segment to EVA, which is part of the TERWIN corporation.
