119 motorcycles for the armed forces: the largest motorcycle transfer to the military Took Place on Independence Day

23.08.2025

The EVA retail chain, together with the HeroCar project of the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation, handed over 119 off-road Sihao motorcycles to Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces.
The vehicles were purchased through the nationwide initiative “Feel to the Fullest”, which ran from February 6 to March 30, 2025, in EVA stores and on the HeroCar website.

The transfer of this record-breaking batch of bikes — the largest in the project’s history — was timed to coincide with Ukraine’s Independence Day, symbolizing the nation’s ongoing fight for freedom.

“HeroCar continuously provides the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine with wheeled vehicles. Today, we’re delivering 119 motorcycles requested by the Armed Forces Command. Lightweight and highly maneuverable, this equipment is invaluable for various operations and logistics — allowing our defenders to move quickly even through the toughest terrain. And we won’t stop here: we’ll continue supplying motorcycles, ATVs, pickups, and specialized vehicles. In total, HeroCar has already delivered over 800 units of equipment,” said Yevheniia But, CEO of the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation, which runs the HeroCar project.

At the start of the initiative, the goal was to purchase around 50 motorcycles. However, thanks to Ukrainians’ generosity, the result exceeded the target more than twice over.
In just 53 days, over 332,000 donors (EVA customers) raised ₴4,710,805, enough to buy all 119 Sihao motorcycles.

“The ‘Feel to the Fullest’ project once again proved that we are united by a shared goal — to support our Defenders. We’ve seen successful fundraisers for drones and vehicles, but we weren’t sure how people would respond to the idea of motorcycles. It was the trust and empathy of our customers that dispelled any doubts. Hundreds of thousands joined in — from small donations of ₴10–15 to the largest of ₴2,100. Many donated several times. Thanks to this unity, we achieved even more than planned. This shows that together, we can do anything,” said Oleksandra Hnatyuk, Head of PR at EVA and EVA.UA.

Cross-country motorcycles have proven their effectiveness on the front lines. Compared to other transport types, they are:

  • highly maneuverable and fast — crucial for reconnaissance and tactical missions;

  • fuel-efficient;

  • capable of navigating rough terrain;

  • simple to maintain and repair, even in field conditions.

That’s why such equipment is especially valuable for soldiers operating in difficult front-line zones.

“On the battlefield today, the enemy can see a lot and strike deep with drones. Those brief windows when the sky is clear are opportunities for our soldiers to move. In those moments, speed, mobility, and cross-country ability become vital. Off-road motorcycles allow troops to cross dangerous areas quickly. Mobility can make the difference between life and death — and between success and failure,” said Volodymyr Dehtiariov, press officer of the Khartia Corps.
