22 years ago, I founded EVA.
It’s hard to believe that this happened almost a quarter of a century ago. For me and my team, it feels like yesterday.
When we opened the first store in Dnipro on Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue (then still Karl Marx Avenue), I could only dream that it would become the largest beauty and health retail chain in Ukraine, that every family would know about
EVA, and we would become a reliable pillar of the Ukrainian economy.
Today, thanks to our employees, partners, and customers, these dreams have come true.
The first EVA store has multiplied into 1,081 stores across all cities of Ukraine. Almost all of Ukraine’s 39 million citizens know about EVA, and more than 8 million of them are active users of the EVA loyalty program, which means that practically every Ukrainian family is our customer.
EVA is one of the largest taxpayers in the country. Over 2 billion UAH was paid to the state in 2023. EVA’s turnover in 2023 amounted to over 20 billion UAH. The EVA online store is among the top three leaders in Ukraine — with 13 million visits per month and 14,000 orders per day!
Today, EVA is 14,000 employees, thousands of suppliers, and tens of millions of customers. Over 120,000 product items and 65 private labels.
As a market leader in beauty and health, one of the country’s largest employers and investors, since the beginning of 2022, EVA has invested about 3.3 billion UAH.
During the war, EVA became one of the largest companies helping Ukraine endure the conflict.
All of this is the result of the work of our team, which has become a true family for me over the past 22 years.
Is this a lot?
For me, 22 years ago, yes. But today, it still feels like just the beginning. Because alongside EVA, I have grown as a businessman. And today, I see an even more ambitious future for EVA.
Don’t think that these 22 years have been smooth for EVA. 2008 was a tough year of crisis; there were losses in 2014 when the war began. It was hard to withstand the 2020 pandemic and continue developing despite the full-scale war in 2022... We've been through a lot.
But if we’re talking about EVA’s formula for success on its birthday, it’s the team, daily hard work, close attention to detail, and courage... With such a foundation, we can move forward and discover new countries on the world map.
I sincerely thank and congratulate the EVA team on its birthday. I think today you feel the same pride and satisfaction, looking at the fruits of your labor, as I do!
I sincerely congratulate all Ukrainians on EVA’s birthday! We have been and will remain by your side every day, despite all the challenges we face. We have been, are, and will be there where and when you need us. And nothing will change that.
I sincerely thank and congratulate EVA’s partners on its birthday. Over these 22 years, we have earned your trust and will continue to justify it, expanding and scaling the geography of Ukrainian business.
I am proud and happy that my aspirations, dreams, and efforts have become a reality today, but this is only the beginning of the journey for EVA.
Ahead, I am confident, lie new horizons.
