TERWIN businesses among the largest taxpayers among Ukrainian retailers
The VARUS supermarket chain continues to demonstrate stable growth and make a significant contribution to Ukraine’s economic development. Over the first half of the year, the company increased its tax payments by 21%.
In the first six months of 2025, VARUS transferred UAH 1.049 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of various levels — 20.97% more compared to the same period in 2024.
These results reflect the stable development of VARUS even during wartime. The company remains one of the largest taxpayers among Ukrainian retailers.
“The growth of our tax payments is not only a sign of the company’s successful development but also proof of our unwavering commitment to Ukraine. We are proud to contribute even more to strengthening our country’s economy and supporting its financial stability,”
— commented Maryna Panina, CFO of VARUS.
VARUS continues to expand its market presence, providing Ukrainians with quality products and goods. The network now includes over 116 supermarkets across different regions of Ukraine, actively develops its online retail direction, and creates thousands of jobs for Ukrainians.
For reference, in 2024, the company paid UAH 1.756 billion in taxes.
