Yevgeniya But, CEO of the Charitable Foundation of Ruslan Shostak, presented this and other projects at the RAU Expo, a retail association forum in Ukraine attended by over 1500 visitors on June 12-13 in Kyiv.
Among the conference partners were over 30 companies representing the B2B and development sectors.
Yevgeniya But introduced the "HeroCar" project during a session on corporate social responsibility, highlighting how such initiatives are crucial in a country at war. HeroCar has already collaborated with companies like "Nova Poshta".
She particularly emphasized the "From Small to Large" initiative. HeroCar, together with partners such as Podorozhnyk pharmacies, Eva and Varus stores, and WOG gas stations, launched a long-term campaign to support the frontlines.
The charitable initiative aims to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with wheeled vehicles. The project has already delivered over 350 pickups to the front, with a goal of reaching 1000 pickups.
The mechanics of the campaign involve customers of partner networks purchasing toy pickups, with all proceeds from sales going towards purchasing real vehicles. Importantly, partners can decide which specific unit of the Armed Forces receives the vehicle, typically directing pickups to units where their employees serve. This demonstrates corporate responsibility.
The first batch of toy pickups, over 10,000 units, was sold in Eva and Varus networks within two weeks.
"Values we often speak of are being tested for authenticity. Our actions now speak louder than words," noted Yevgeniya But during her address. "In peacetime, we compete. Today, businesses unite for one purpose - to end the war in Ukraine."
New partners are continually joining the "From Small to Large" project. At the RAU Expo 2024 forum, a memorandum was signed with a significant new participant, "Vodafone Retail".
