The award brings together representatives of Ukrainian business who develop their companies based on the principles of integrity, open competition, and responsible management, while also contributing to the resilience of the economy and society.

The award laureates across various sectors—including IT, miltech, agriculture, industry, energy, construction, retail, finance, and services—were selected by a professional jury and the editorial board of Ekonomichna Pravda.

The expert jury included Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association; Gennadiy Chyzhykov, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Vladyslav Rashkovan, Alternate Executive Director for Ukraine at the International Monetary Fund; Roksolana Pidlasa, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget; Nataliia Shapoval, Head of KSE Institute; Andriy Fedoriv, Founder of FEDORIV Group; and Aivaras Abromavičius, former Minister of Economy and former Head of Ukroboronprom.

Olha Shevchenko has been working at EVA since its founding in 2002. She began her career with the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and has been leading the business as CEO since 2010. During this time, EVA has scaled into the largest national drogerie chain, which today spans over 1,170 retail outlets and the EVA.UA marketplace.

Under Olha Shevchenko's leadership, the company consistently builds a modern drogerie ecosystem. Operational resilience has become a specific focus for EVA during wartime. The chain continues to operate wherever possible, providing customers with everyday essentials, growing, and creating jobs. In 2025, the volume of taxes paid by the company exceeded UAH 5 billion, and investments in development amounted to over UAH 1.1 billion.

Social responsibility also remains one of the company's core pillars. Over more than four years of the full-scale war, EVA, together with its customers, has directed over UAH 132 million toward socially critical needs.

In 2025, Olha Shevchenko was also named a laureate of the "UP100: Women's Power" award in the "Business" category and was recognized among the top three executives in the "25 Best CEOs of Ukraine 2025" ranking by Forbes.
