Ruslan Shostak, president of TERWIN Corporation and founder of the EVA and VARUS chains, shared his insights on investment priorities and prospects for Ukraine’s economic development in an interview with Dmytro Karpilovskyi, co-founder of the YouTube project UkrInvestClub.

Ruslan Shostak discussed his vision for the development of key economic sectors and revealed the areas he invests in. The conversation also touched on the criteria for selecting investment opportunities and the economic sectors that, in the businessman’s view, are losing relevance. He emphasized the importance of considering not only the current market situation but also long-term trends for successful investment.

“We invest in logistics, real estate, and manufacturing. Logistics is a fundamental sector, and its inefficiency slows down the entire economy. If we and other companies build strong logistics systems, we will be able to grow our businesses more effectively,” Shostak explained.

TERWIN is currently developing a large-scale logistics project, WINHUB, which opens new opportunities for long-term investments and has already attracted the interest of Western investors. This project includes a network of Class A warehouses with a total area of 1 million square meters across four regions of Ukraine. The planned investment in WINHUB amounts to $700 million. These are not just warehouse complexes but a fully-fledged ecosystem and infrastructure for businesses, unmatched in Ukraine. The hub's design prioritizes energy efficiency, sustainability, and ergonomics. WINHUB is a crucial part of Ukraine’s post-war logistical and energy-efficient recovery.

In addition to logistics, Shostak highlighted the importance of investing in energy, given its critical role in rebuilding the country.
