This marks the fourth time Maryna Panina has been included in the "TOP-10 CFOs of Ukraine" ranking. Previously, she took first place in 2019 and was named among the TOP-10 in 2022 and 2023.
According to Maryna Panina, this recognition is primarily an acknowledgment of the work of the entire VARUS finance team, which ensures business resilience and development even under the conditions of full-scale war.
The ranking, organized by CFO Club Ukraine since 2016, is one of the leading professional accolades for the country's financial executives. Its purpose is to recognize CFOs who demonstrate a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and leadership, as well as make a significant contribution to ensuring the stability and development of Ukrainian business.
Since 2023, the ranking has determined winners in two categories — "Large Business" and "Medium Business." The winners are chosen by an expert council consisting of 15 leading specialists in the field of economics and finance.
The evaluation of candidates is based on independent voting by members of the expert council. Each expert forms their own ranking of ten candidates and assigns them points from 10 to 1. The final result is determined by the total number of points received from all jury members.
During the evaluation, special attention is paid to the performance results of financial directors under martial law, as well as their contribution to supporting business manageability and the economic resilience of companies.
