Nataliia Aziukovska, CEO of the VARUS supermarket chain, has been included in the 2025 ranking of the Top 50 CEOs of Ukraine, compiled by the magazine TOP-100. Ratings of the Largest in cooperation with the business portal Delo.ua.

The VARUS chain is part of TERWIN, a corporation established to scale the successful experiences of businesses into strategic projects for Ukraine's development.

The award ceremony, held within the framework of the Business Wisdom Summit, gathered leaders of the most successful companies from various sectors of the Ukrainian economy, including energy, pharmaceuticals, retail, and finance.

Aziukovska’s leadership is the ability to see potential in every individual, unite the team around a common goal, and maintain a strategic course even in the most challenging times. Under her leadership, the network has demonstrated stable growth.

VARUS is one of the leading Ukrainian retailers, operating 113 supermarkets nationwide, while also developing online sales and a DarkStore in Kyiv. In 2024, under Aziukovska’s leadership, the company opened nine new supermarkets with a total retail space of 6,264 sq. m. Investments in new facilities amounted to almost $7.5 million, with an additional $2.5 million allocated for modernization and reconstruction of existing stores.

The company is also in the process of signing an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to attract $25 million in loan financing.

The online division of VARUS is also showing rapid growth: in 2024, e-commerce revenues increased by 135.5% compared to the previous year, while the average online order value grew by 12%.

The Top 50 Best CEOs of Ukraine were determined by an expert jury and the editorial board of the magazine. The jury evaluated candidates based on five criteria: years of managerial experience in the industry, crisis management skills, application of innovations, leadership potential, and competence in change management. About one-third of the Top 50 representatives are leaders in retail and e-commerce.
