Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN, joins the board of directors of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs
Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN Corporation and founder of EVA and VARUS, has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) — the largest association of independent Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
The Board of Directors of the Union participates in the development and approval of SUP’s strategic plans and goals aimed at supporting and growing Ukrainian business.
“I am fully aware of the responsibility placed on the members of the SUP Board of Directors. From today, I am responsible not only for my own companies but also for the future of Ukrainian entrepreneurship as part of the Union. I believe we must develop an entrepreneurial culture in our country. Becoming a business owner in Ukraine should be both honorable and rewarding — for individuals and for the state. It is important that entrepreneurial skills are taught to children from school age so that entrepreneurship becomes a cornerstone of our nation’s development. After all, business is the driver of the economy. Ukraine offers tremendous opportunities for building businesses — we just need to be able to see and seize them. All of this must be learned. We must also significantly strengthen trust in business in our country and inspire more Ukrainians to become entrepreneurs. Fostering an entrepreneurial culture — this is the mission I see for myself as a member of the SUP Board of Directors, having united a large number of successful Ukrainian businesses around this idea,” said Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN Corporation.
The Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP) is the largest association of independent entrepreneurs in Ukraine, created by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. SUP works daily to ensure that business interests and rights are protected and that the rules of doing business are transparent and clear. The Union promotes investment and strengthens the reputation of Ukrainian business as a strong and reliable partner.
The organization operates according to best practices of corporate governance. The Board of Directors includes representatives from various business sectors, ensuring gender and regional balance. The Board defines the strategic directions of the Union, approves plans, budgets, the annual balance sheet, and internal documents, oversees the implementation of decisions made by the General Assembly, shapes membership policy, and represents the Union’s interests in relations with state and international institutions.
