Shostak Foundation joins the civil society cooperation platform for the benefit of the child as part of the “Family. from orphanhood to family” project

18.07.2025

The Shostak Foundation, part of the TERWIN Corporation, has signed the Declaration of Member Organizations of the Civil Society Cooperation Platform for the Benefit of the Child.

The charitable foundation supports the reform of the childcare system and the implementation of the 2024–2028 Strategy, aimed at ensuring that every child grows up in a safe and caring family environment, not in an institution.

The Shostak Foundation has a unique record of rescuing over 3,500 orphans and continues to provide systematic support to children deprived of parental care.

The Foundation will strengthen the Platform through practical actions — assisting large foster families, creating conditions for the adoption of orphans, supporting the development of social infrastructure and services, organizing rehabilitation and recovery programs for children affected by war, and establishing safety and support hubs for children rescued from dangerous environments.

The Civil Society Cooperation Platform is a space for collaboration that unites international, national, and local organizations in defense of every child’s right to grow up in a family. It provides effective coordination, experience sharing, access to training, and resources for all those working in the interests of children.

The Platform is implemented by the Coordination Center for the Development of Family Upbringing and Childcare in partnership with UNICEF Ukraine, within the framework of the project “Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation, and Transformation (SPIRIT)”, funded by the British Embassy Kyiv and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
