The EVA retail chain has been included in the ranking of the best employers in Ukraine and received an award for its corporate culture.

EVA is part of TERWIN — a corporation created to scale the successful experience of its businesses into strategic projects for Ukraine’s development.

On July 2, the annual HR Wisdom Summit took place in Kyiv — one of the key events for Ukraine’s HR community, during which the best employers and HR leaders were traditionally recognized.

EVA was included in the Top 100 Best Employers of Ukraine ranking, compiled by the magazine TOP 100. Ratings of the Largest and the business portal delo.ua, based on expert jury evaluations and online voting results. The ranking features companies from various sectors — retail, finance, IT, logistics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, metallurgy, energy, telecommunications, and others.

Among the retail companies, in addition to EVA, the list also includes ATB, Novus, Avrora, Metro Ukraine, Brocard, Epicenter K, Fozzy Group, Comfy, Rozetka, VARUS, JYSK, Retail Group, OKKO, Puma, the Podorozhnyk pharmacy chain, WOG, and Eko Market.

Beyond the overall ranking, the organizers — TOP 100. Ratings of the Largest and delo.ua — highlighted companies that implement the best HR practices in special categories. These included programs for veteran reintegration, inclusion development, crisis HR management, corporate education, and employment initiatives for youth and older workers. EVA received the award in the “Best Corporate Culture” category.

This year’s HR Wisdom Summit brought together leading experts and business representatives who shared practical cases and discussed the transformation of HR approaches amid unprecedented challenges in the labor market.

EVA’s HR Director, Inna Pecherytsia, who was named among the top ten HR leaders in Ukraine, emphasized in her speech that corporate culture is a key component of an employer brand. She shared EVA’s case studies and their impact on the company’s HR metrics and business results. She also stressed that building corporate culture is not as simple as it may seem: it’s not about big budgets or specific tools, but about the ability to listen to people, understand their needs, and find a way to their hearts — something much harder than creating a plan or calculating a budget.

A strong and well-developed corporate culture is precisely the internal force that helps EVA maintain balance and support its team even in the most challenging times.
