07.03.2024
Ruslan Shostak's TERWIN Corporation has entered the top ten best investor companies in Ukraine. The ranking was compiled and published by dsnews.
Leading businesses in Ukraine have already adapted to wartime realities and are actively planning for the future. The best evidence of this is serious investment projects. Major players are not waiting for changes; they are the driving force, investing in Ukraine's future. After all, investments are a step forward and a driver of the country's economic growth.
Dsnews has compiled a ranking of 10 companies that have chosen the most promising and important investment directions, care about staff development, and finance innovations. TERWIN Corporation, which unites 17 companies from various industries (including the EVA and VARUS chains), was recognized for its active investments in strategic projects aimed at developing logistics and infrastructure in the face of modern challenges.
TERWIN is implementing the large-scale WINHUB project, a logistics complex with planned investments of $700 million. The corporation plans to build modern Class A warehouse facilities with a total area of 1 million square meters in four regions—Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk. The hub's design is based on principles of energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and ergonomics. The regions where WINHUB operates will have more resources for development—the project envisages creating 25,000 jobs in state-of-the-art logistics facilities, around which a network of related businesses will develop. Consequently, communities will have more opportunities to support social infrastructure.
The TOP-10 also includes Univest, "Avrora," "Biosphere," Datagroup-Volia, "Epicenter," "Interpipe," "Kyivstar," "Metinvest," and "Ukrnafta."
“We see the crisis as an opportunity. We see prospects in Ukraine and are ready to invest in large projects. If a business wants to remain successful, it is not enough just to be in the Ukrainian market; it needs to develop, implement new technologies, expand opportunities, invest, and contribute to the country's economic growth. We are building not just logistics hubs but an entire ecosystem. WINHUB will include a comprehensive infrastructure for work and leisure, including vehicle service stations, hostels, restaurants, cafes, and recreation areas for staff. This creates comfortable working conditions and increases attractiveness for investors,” shared Ruslan Shostak, president of TERWIN Corporation.
