TERWIN Corporation, founded and led by entrepreneur Ruslan Shostak, has been recognized among the top six Ukrainian businesses implementing large-scale social projects.

Ukrainian businesses continue to demonstrate that responsibility, compassion, and care for society are integral to their operations. TERWIN was ranked among the top six social initiatives of 2024 by the Ministry of Finance for its impactful projects that are transforming the country.

One of TERWIN’s key projects is the construction of logistics hubs with over 1 million square meters of Class A warehouse space across four Ukrainian regions: Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa. The project is built on energy efficiency principles, environmental sustainability, and ergonomic design. This initiative represents an entire ecosystem that sets a new standard for logistics infrastructure development in Ukraine.

The Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation, established in 2022 by Ruslan Shostak—president of TERWIN Corporation and founder of the national retail chains EVA and VARUS—has focused on two primary areas since the beginning of the full-scale war: supporting the military and aiding war-affected orphans.

The "Childhood Without War" project, initiated by the Foundation, organized Ukraine’s first private evacuation of orphaned children to Turkey. Over 1,000 days, the children were accommodated in hotels on the Mediterranean coast, with the Foundation and its partners fully covering their housing, food, education, and development. A total of €10.2 million was allocated to the project. "Childhood Without War" received international recognition, entering the World Book of Records as the largest evacuation of children since World War II. A documentary film about the project, Save Generation UA, won seven international awards in five countries.

Another major initiative of the Foundation is HeroCar, which provides the Armed Forces of Ukraine with transport vehicles. In 2024, the project raised approximately UAH 62 million for the military, engaging 90 partners and 25 ambassadors. Over three years of war, more than 530 vehicles were delivered to the front lines, along with a unique NATO-standard Griffon Barbara hovercraft.

To secure funding quickly, the Foundation builds partnerships with Ukrainian and international businesses, influencers, and celebrities, involving them in creative fundraising campaigns. Off-road vehicles are purchased at the best prices, undergo technical inspections and maintenance, and are promptly delivered to the front lines.

Looking ahead to 2025, the HeroCar project aims to reach 1,000 vehicles delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Plans include expanding partnerships and intensifying international fundraising efforts.

Additionally, the Foundation will continue its efforts in supporting children. The primary goal is to ensure that every child who has lost their parents finds a loving and caring family. In this area, the Foundation is fostering strong collaborations with the government, as well as Ukrainian and international partners.
