Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN, spoke about the work of emergency responders in the aftermath of Russian attacks and how businesses must restructure their logistics and adapt to the intensification of these attacks.

The State Emergency Service demonstrated highly organized operations while responding to the aftermath of yet another strike on warehouses in Dnipro. Significant personnel and equipment were deployed, rapidly mobilized from across the region.

Local authorities also stepped in immediately, working alongside the rescue teams. Robotic equipment was used to extinguish the fire in areas where it was too dangerous for human rescuers to operate. Today, we can and must strengthen every critical area.

The enemy is systematically targeting Ukrainian infrastructure; therefore, we must systematically change our approaches to its protection and restoration.

We need to seek unconventional solutions, implement new technologies, and restructure logistics.

I would like to address the customers of our retail chains once again. We are open for business. VARUS is operating.

Other Ukrainian retailers are working 24/7. Goods will not disappear from the shelves. If large warehouses become targets, we will adjust our logistics. Instead of one large facility, we will use several smaller ones dispersed across different locations. We will reconfigure our routes, inventory, and supply systems.

We will find a solution. Our task is to remain strong, united, and ready to adapt quickly.

Today, it will be extremely difficult for businesses to operate without state support. We are counting on decisions from the Ministry of Economy that will enable companies to recover quickly from attacks and, above all, ensure that Ukrainian business operations do not come to a halt. After all, there is no longer time for lengthy discussions.
