Aspen Institute Kyiv held a seminar for top executives of TERWIN Corporation
Aspen Institute Kyiv held a seminar for top executives of TERWIN Corporation as part of its “Business and Society” program. The event brought together 25 participants responsible for strategically developing the corporation's businesses.
During the seminar, participants discussed the role of entrepreneurs in times of crisis, the challenges of a wartime economy, business ethics, principles of responsible management, innovation, and the relationship between business and society. The central theme remained the ongoing war, a factor that raises the bar for leadership and intensifies the need for resilient and conscious decision-making.
“Learning is key to sustainable growth. After gaining my own positive experience with Aspen, I initiated the participation of TERWIN's top executives in the seminar. Together, we discussed freedom, individuality, power, capitalism, and the responsibility of business in wartime. I thank the Aspen team for their professionalism, depth, and the opportunity to re-examine familiar concepts and 'synchronize our watches' on company values, mission, and current growth points. In times when a leader’s responsibility multiplies, such seminars help focus on priorities and make not only effective but also thoughtful decisions,” shared Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN Corporation.
The seminar was moderated by Denis Poltavets, Director of Program Development at Aspen Institute Kyiv, and Volodymyr Fadieiev, Head of Department at the H.S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The event was coordinated by Alina Shklyaruk, Director of Seminar Programs at the Institute.
